This is such a distortion. I live in Canada and required emergency care six months ago. I couldn't have gotten faster and more professional care. This commercial is a lie and the actor in it should be ashamed if she is, indeed, Canadian.

friends in Canada and England etc does not give the whole picture. I am Canadian, I work in health care (RN x 30+ years) and I have had cancer, etc which was treated in the Canadian system. Health care in Canada is terrific. Don't believe the distortions.

I have many friends that are Canadians, British, and others from different countries that have a government health care and they all have told me stories where family members have died because of the poor health care system that Canada and others provide.

And I waited all of 4 days for surgery for cancer. No one waits for surgery if it is urgent. Specialists can be seen when it is urgent, I can attest to that. If this story is true, a huge if, then it very much the exception. Don't believe the distortions!

Yes, don't let government get between you and your physician. Let the insurance corps, the hospital mega conglomerates and the pharmaceutical corps decide what is best for you!! They can do it more efficiently and make a killing, in more ways than one!!
